OPERATION SPLASH | TOWN OF HEMPSTEAD DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION AND WATERWAYS

Operation SPLASH, a volunteer non-profit organization chartered by the Town of Hempstead, provides a solution to the growing problem of waterfront pollution through public awareness and individual participation. Hempstead Town has joined forces with SPLASH to affix "no dumping" medallions on storm drains throughout the entire township. The medallions will serve as a reminder that dumping has environmental consequences. The town is seeking additional volunteers to assist SPLASH with affixing the medallions.
