ANIMAL CARE VOLUNTEERS | SPCA OF WESTCHESTER

Volunteer's talents and interests are matched to the numerous opportunities to help, such as dog walking, cat socialization, dog bathing and grooming, greeters program, pet therapy, event planning, humane education, outreach programs, shelter beautification, administrative work or opening your home to a foster animal. All volunteers go through orientation sessions, and training depending on the task.

A not-for-profit, no-kill shelter that operates a low cost spay/neuter clinic, and has established a fund to prevent cruelty to animals, and takes in mistreated, abused, and abandoned animals. Today, it is the only humane society in Westchester County empowered to enforce laws relating to animal cruelty.
