Activities to meet the interests and needs of rural and urban young people ages 5 to 19, including: Rural youth services: year-round, after school, in-school, evening and weekend educational opportunities in nine rural communities for youth needing positive experiences Urban 4-H: after-school and summer programming, based on the 4-H youth development model, for young people in urban communities Summer Day Camps: local and statewide camps Primitive Pursuits: mentoring and nature education to introduces youngsters to the natural world 4-H clubs: opportunities for young people to learn about environmental issues, veterinary medicine, science, engineering and technology, sewing skills, healthy lifestyles and other topics.
