Description
Offers an American Bar Association approved certificate program in Paralegal Studies that is designed to meet the needs of the college graduate seeking a career as a paralegal. In order to be eligible for admission, a student must have either an Associate or Baccalaureate degree. Students with an Associate degree must meet the minimum general education requirements set by the American Bar Association. Course offerings include: Introduction to Law and the Legal System; Litigation; Real Property; Legal Research and Writing; Law Office Management; Partnerships and Corporations; Estates and Administration; Torts and Personal Injury Law; Family Law; Bankruptcy/Debtor-Creditor Law; Legal Writing and Analysis; Law and Ethics in Medicine and Medical Malpractice and Elder Law.
