Job Central is a multi-faceted program addressing the barriers homeless and other extremely low-income individuals face as they attempt to secure living wage employment, live independently, and achieve economic self-sufficiency. The program provides technology access, job readiness skills training, job search assistance, employment coaching professional development, and post-employment support.

LIFTING UP WESTCHESTER

Nonsectarian, social services agency which serves people experiencing homelessness, hunger and extreme poverty. Programs include a soup kitchen, men's shelter, women's shelter, summer day camp and after school mentoring for homeless and disadvantaged children, supportive housing for individuals with mental illness, chronic homelessness or AIDS/HIV and support to individuals with developmentally disabilities, housing retention and employment and vocational services.
