Responsible for enforcing all laws and ordinances, preventing and investigating criminal activity, arresting suspects, presenting evidence, regulating traffic, and other activities that protect lives and property and preserve peace in the community. Additional services include: Autism Registry, Project Lifesaver (tracking for dementia wanderers), Child Safety Seats, Dark House checks, Defensive driver training, Dog licensing, D.A.R.E for elementary schools, Fingerprinting for employment purposes Letters of good conduct, Medication disposal and Police Cadet Program for teens interested in Pursuing a career in law enforcement.
