Buffalo H.O.P.E. Resource Center & Helpline - Buffalo Urban League
Provides information, psychoeducation, coping skills education, wrap-around supports, assessments, and referrals/linkage to resources for anyone in need through a free and confidential helpline and resource center, with the goal of empowering City of Buffalo residents to explore their options as they recover from recent traumatic events. Staff are readily available to talk, listen, provide emotional support, and teach stress reduction techniques and positive coping strategies via helpline or in person at the resource center, with no appointment necessary. Staff can also provide assessment and referrals/linkages to housing information, jobs, and any further community resources needed.
