Responsible for enforcing laws and ordinances, investigating criminal activity, and engaging in other activities that protect lives and property and preserve peace in the community. Programs include: Community Events, Car Seat Program, Non-Criminal Fingerprinting (fee), Drug Take Back Program, Police Department Tours, Dark House Checks, Animal Control and (the desk sergeant wasn’t sure if they still currently offer this last one) Civilian Response to Active Shooting Events (CRASE) Training Courses.
