Unity House by Caz Recovery

Residential reintegration program for homeless men in recovery from substance abuse that encourages connections to volunteer, educational, and employment opportunities. Offers counseling, meals, recreation, daily support, and self-help meetings. Program employs client-centered cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral therapies, along with motivational interviewing to help residents learn to cope with life experiences without relying on substance use. Utilizes trauma-informed care practices that seek to address each individual's past history or trauma and its effect on their lives.

Fee

Medicaid and/or Managed Care, DSS, SSI/SSD, Congregate Care Level 2 domiciliary rate with a sliding fee scale; private pay is also an option.

Eligibility

Men who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless (according to HUD standards), over 18 years old, in recovery from substance use, and in need of structure and support for daily living. Service Area: WNY.
