Provides outpatient substance abuse services for individuals suffering from alcohol or drug related problems and their family members. Individual and family assessments, referrals for detox, and other treatments are available. Offers short and long term treatment groups, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) group, individual and family therapy. Also offers intensive outpatient treatment with medical enhancement available, and an opiate recovery program that includes suboxone treatment. Women's Services are provided through ongoing early intervention, case management, vocational placement services, HIV assessment, counseling, and linkage to ECMC AIDS Services. Expanded culturally sensitive services are available for African American populations, Hispanic populations, gay and lesbian populations, older adults/seniors, and others. Outpatient services are offered for individuals arrested for DWI offenses, with both short and long term intervention and treatment groups. Involvement of families is encouraged with treatment services provided through the Downtown Clinic at the same location. Length of program is 3-9 months. Also offers presentations to agencies and community education/training. ##REENTRY##
