GROUP DAY HABILITATION SERVICES | UCP OF LONG ISLAND

Provides adults with developmental disabilities opportunities to become involved in community activities. Individuals actively plan and implement activities focusing on personal interests. Provides services which assist with acquisition, retention or improvement in the areas of health and related activities, money management, communication, social and personal care skills and community integration.

Advances the independence, productivity and full citizenship of people with cerebral palsy and other disabilities. Programs include early intervention, pre-school and school-age education, plus evaluation and screenings, adult day treatment, day habilitation, job training and placement, supportive employment, and children and adult residential placements, respite.
