Holiday Partnership at Mitchell Owen Community Center - Salvation Army Buffalo

Member of the WNY Holiday Partnership which provides toys and gifts to low income families for the winter holidays. Gifts will be distributed via a walk-through toy shop allowing parent selection. Parents should NOT bring their children when picking up toys, as children are not permitted in the toy shop.

Application process

Applications accepted in person by walk-in. The following documentation will be verified upon distribution: 1. Proof of all household income for the past 30 days; this includes Food Stamp Budget Sheet. 2. Identification for all household members, including verification of children's ages. 3. Social Security numbers for all household members (1 year and older). 4. Picture ID for the person making the application 5. Proof of current address. 6. A copy of the email they received from Salvation Army notifying them of pickup. 7. Birth certificates for children receiving gifts. For questions about holiday assistance call 211 or 888-696-9211.
