Description
Staff and trained volunteers of the Ombudsman receive, investigate and resolve concerns of, or on behalf of the residents of long-term care facilities. Ombudsmen from Catholic Charities visit the facilities regularly to monitor the quality of care, assist residents in understanding and exercising their rights, assure care with dignity and respect, and encourage residents to express their opinions.

Washington County Office for Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) is a collaborative effort between the Department of Social Services and the Office for the Aging, providing unbiased information and access to home and community based services for aging and disabled populations under the NY Connects Program.
