Strives to prevent disease, support wellness, and empower self-care by improving the health of the communities we serve through education, awareness, outreach, and prevention and screening activities. Health education offerings include: Public Health; Vaxmobile and Community Health Screenings. Lectures include: Colorectal cancer and prevention; Diabetes; Heart health; Hypertension; Injury prevention; Prostate cancer; Stroke and Women’s health. Programs include: Diabetes self-management; Injury Prevention; Smoking cessation; Stop the Bleed; Aging in Place: Protect your independence and health and Matter of Balance: Managing concerns about falls (ages 65+).
