WEATHERIZATION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM | CDCLI
Goal is to make the homes of low income Long Islanders, especially the elderly and disabled, more energy efficient. An energy audit is conducted to determine the most cost effective means of reducing energy consumption in the dwelling. Typical energy conservation measures employed may include installing insulation, repairing/replacing doors and windows, caulking, weatherstripping, interior air sealing, repair/replacement of heating systems and installation of smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
