Description

Provides free professional home energy assessment to qualify for: EmpowerNY- covers 100% of the cost of energy efficiency improvements (i.e. air sealing, new refrigerator and lighting). Weatherization Assistance Program- provides additional energy improvements at not cost. Assisted Home Performance with Energy Star- covers 50% of additional energy improvements. Also provides information about renewable heat incentives (wood heat incentives available in areas where natural gas isn't accessible) and solar information. Program eligibility is determined by household income.
