The Caroline Senior Citizens Unit meets on the second Monday, usually in the Brooktondale Community Center: April through October, 5 pm December through March, dish-to-pass dinners, at noon The group also takes day trips throughout the year.

The Brooktondale Community Center provides space and support for local recreational and educational programming for youth, teens, adults and senior citizens.Facilities include: space for private parties (birthdays, wedding receptions, etc.) for a modest fee. No charge for public meetings. inspiration and learning gardens playground with swings, slides, climbing structures, a teeter totter, tennis court, basketball hoops indoor facilities: two ping pong tables, Wii/TV with several sports type programs and no violent games for supervised play. Adults who supervise children or use the equipment for a private party should take a short training session to ensure safe use of these items.Activities include: annual summer camp fall Apple Fest fund raiser book sales farmers market quilting/sewing/needlework group free Thanksgiving and Easter dinnersThe center provides space for the Caroline Food Pantry, fitness classes and 4-H, seniors, youth and 12-step groups.
