Adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities that reside in Schuyler, Steuben and Chemung counties. Individuals must meet eligibility criteria as defined by the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities.

Description

Provides habilitative services through group activities out of the person’s home. Day Habilitation services can assist individuals to acquire, retain or improve their self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills, such as communication, travel and adult interactions. Activities and environments are designed to foster the development of skills and appropriate behavior, greater independence, community inclusion, relationship building, self-advocacy, and informed choice. Transportation provided.
