LawHelpNY is a legal information internet portal covering all of NYS, providing referral information to all the free legal services available covering 11 areas of law. Offers a library of more than 4,000 legal fact sheets on civil legal issues including housing foreclosures, evictions and landlord-tenant issues, divorce, consumer protection, debt, immigration rights and more. Also provides LiveHelp, an online chat option staffed by trained volunteers who can provide legal referrals. Program offers free legal information only, not legal advice. Special bi-lingual Spanish website available at www.ayudalegainy.org
