NUTRITION OUTREACH EDUCATION PROJECT/NASSAU (NOEP) | NUTRITION OUTREACH EDUCATION PROJECT/NASSAU

Promotes participation in federal nutrition programs, especially the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and the Summer Food Service Program, through outreach and training. Program staff will prescreen individuals for potential SNAP and assist with the application process. Staff provides professional training sessions for human service workers on food assistance programs and will assist interested organizations in serving/sponsoring a summer food service site.
