YOUTH AND FAMILIES PROGRAM | HISPANIC COUNSELING CENTER
Assists Hispanic youth and their families in the acculturation process. Addresses problems associated with scholastic underachievement, family dysfunction, domestic violence, child abuse, and neglect. Provides individual and group counseling, family mediation, parent education series, crisis intervention, and school intervention to assist Hispanic youth and their families. Offers after school homework help/tutoring and six week summer camp.

HISPANIC COUNSELING CENTER
Provides bilingual prevention, education and treatment in the areas of substance abuse, alcohol and mental health. Other programs include: children and family support services, domestic violence services, Medicaid service coordination, mental health service for people with HIV/AIDS, supported housing for mentally ill clients, and after school tutoring and enrichment programs. Services are provided by bilingual/certified social workers. Member of the United Way of Long Island and the Hispanic Federation of New York.
