Rehab Loan Programs for owner occupants includes the Target Streets Rehab Initiative, Fifty-Fifty Program, and Emergency Assistance Program. Downpayment Assistance: Enables many first-time homebuyers earning less than 80 percent of their community's median income to purchase their first home. Program provides funding up to a maximum of $5,000 to assist with down payment and closing cost expenses associated with the purchase. 2.) Homegrown Homeownership: Purchase and rehab assistance for eligible buyers purchasing a home from the City of Buffalo, Division of Real Estate. 3.)
