Description

The Building Department has the responsibility of enforcing the New York State Building Code and the zoning regulations adopted by the town. All permits for new construction, additions, and alterations are issued by the Building Department, as are sign permits. This department inspects construction in-progress and issues certificates of occupancy upon completion. All transactions are kept on permanent record for future review when necessary.
