Description

A technical assistance and information center offers free information and referral services to parents and professionals for children (birth-5 years), who have special needs. Areas of assistance include parent training, education and referrals to: evaluation, infant stimulation, preschool special education, therapy (physical, occupational, speech) mental health services, support groups, financial entitlements and recreation, to ensure that children are linked to appropriate services and supports in the least restrictive environment/natural settings. Also provides community training and eduction for general and special education early childhood professionals.
