FACILITATED ENROLLMENT FOR THE AGED, BLIND AND DISABLED - AOP | ACTION FOR OLDER PERSONS

A public health insurance application assistance program for people who are aged, blind or disabled. We educate and assist New Yorkers with enrolling in and using public health insurance programs. Facilitated Enrollment consists of private, one-on-one counseling about Medicaid and the Medicare Savings Program. We can meet with people at our offices, various public locations, by phone or at a client's home if they are unable to travel. Our service areas include Chenango, Cortland, Delaware and Otsego

Works to enhances the lives of adults living in Broome, Delaware, Chenango, Cortland, Otsego and Tioga counties. Through classes, seminars, counseling sessions, and advocacy, AOP volunteers and staff impact the lives of thousands of people each year.
