Sales of fruits and vegetables; baked goods; some animal products such as eggs, meat and cheese; craft items and ready-to-eat cooked foods produced within 30 miles of the market.Days and times Steamboat Landing (off Route 13 North of downtown area): Saturdays (4/4-10/27), 9am-3pm Saturdays (11/7-12/22), 10am-3pm Sundays (5/3-10/28), 10am-3pm Using EBT (Food Stamps/SNAP) at farmer's markets: at markets accepting EBT, visit the Market Manager Booth to swipe your EBT card. you will be given tokens for amount of money that you swiped. redeem tokens at participating vendors. Vendors have signs indicating tokens are accepted; if you don't see a sign, ask if the vendor takes tokens. you don't receive change for tokens; ask vendor to round the amount to the whole dollar.These products can be purchased with EBT tokens: fresh vegetables, meats, fruit, honey, cheese, syrup, baked goods, canned goods, pickled and processed foods. or seeds to grow plants. You CANNOT purchase prepared foods, crafts, ornamental plants.
