Description
Designed for cheerleaders who desire a full day of expert training in all facets of cheerleading. Training will include cheers, dances, jumps, stunts, pyramid building and gymnastics. A routine with skills the campers are taught will be performed at the end of camp for Family and Friends. The camp is structured for both teams and individuals to believe in themselves and achieve their personal best. Cheer Camp encompasses all styles and skill levels from beginner to elite. Cheerleaders will be grouped according to age and skill level. Hofstra’s Cheer Camp utilizes the University’s state-of-the-art, air-conditioned facilities for gymnastics and stunting sessions. Each camper should wear daily: cotton T-shirt, athletic shorts, and sneakers. Campers must also bring a water bottle. Bathing suit and towel will be needed on assigned swim days.
