Outpatient Clinic - WNY Children's Psychiatric Center
Outpatient mental health clinic for children. Provides counseling and treatment for children ages 5-21 years of age and their families. Treatment is intended to improve life functioning and psychiatric symptoms while keeping children and adolescents in their homes and communities. The clinic can provide ongoing support to youth and family. Families will work with a therapist to develop goals to improve life functioning and wellness. In addition, psychiatric assessment is available to those that require medication. Satellite clinics include the Zoar Valley Clinic in Gowanda, as well as Buffalo Public Schools #33 (Bilingual School) and #45 (International School). Family support programs are available to share challenges and solutions among families experiencing similar situations. This is a professionally facilitated group in collaboration with the Mental Health Advocates of WNY.

Eligibility
Children and adolescents ages 5-21 years old. Support groups are open and provided to families of children experiencing mental health issues. A separate group is provided for teens who could benefit from peer support. Service Area: WNY.
