Zoo Education Volunteers (Docents) help to guide tours, spotlight animals, and educate the public about environmental issues around the world and at home. Gardening volunteers maintain the gardens on site. Special event volunteers assist with various tasks during the zoo's fundraising events throughout the year

$20 Docent fee for uniform and materials.
Eligibility
Teens, adults,and seniors (18+ yrs or 10+ yrs with parent/guardian). Must be able to stand/sit for hours at a time.
