* Produces and disseminates information leading to increased recognition, prevention, and treatment of problem gambling.* Conducts and publicly supports research activities to establish and document areas of need.* Provides free training to healthcare and other professionals to assess and treat persons with gambling-related problems.* Fosters expanded and improved services for residents adversely affected by gambling.* Assists industry and business leaders in developing customer- and employee-based problem gambling awareness programs.* Conducts workshops and conferences.* Connects individuals to therapy and Gambling Anonymous (GA) services.
