The History Center in Tompkins County (THC) is a generation-to-generation education and research center focused on engaging the public with the history of Tompkins CountyThe History Center Exhibit Hall on the Ithaca Commons is open Wednesday-Saturday 10am-5pm. We can accommodate drop-in visitors at our Exhibit Hall on the Ithaca Commons most days, private covid-conscious visits can be booked in advance by contacting [email protected]. Review our Health & Safety protocols at thehistorycenter.net/health. Families and children are encouraged to request scavenger hunts, coloring pages, and to spend time in the Children's Education Area during all regular hours.The Research Library and Archives are available by appointment only.
