TITLE XIX HOME CARE PROGRAM | ALBANY COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES

Provides disabled Medicaid recipients with home care services with the goal of keeping consumers from needing to enter residential facilities. Assists Medicaid recipients to hire, train and fire their own personal care attendants with on-going program support. Services include meal preparation, laundry, light cleaning and errands. It does not allow for just supervision of the client.
