Eligibility

Pregnant, breastfeeding, and post-partum women, as well as women who have an infant or child under 5 years old; must live in New York State and receive SNAP (Food Stamps), Temporary Assistance (TANF), Medicaid, or meet income guidelines. WIC does not require US citizenship, social security number, green card, or legal residency to receive benefits. Service Area: Erie County. Description

Provides basic food for pregnant and postpartum women, infants, and children up to age 5. Eligible participants receive a food benefit card to purchase nutritious foods such as milk, eggs, cheese, whole grains, fruits and vegetables, cereal, peanut butter, and baby formula. Also offers nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and community referrals.
