SWIM CAMP | ST. JOSEPH'S UNIVERSITY - FUTURE STARS SUMMER CAMPS

Offers Swim Camp which is designed for boys and girls entering ages 8-14, and aims to cultivate confidence and improve techniques in the water. Swim Camp follows a progressive curriculum, with campers grouped by ability level in accordance with Red Cross standards. *This is not a 'learn-to-swim' program. Attendees should be proficient in the water and have an understanding of the basic strokes. Current swim club members or those seeking to join a club and build on their current skill set will get the most out of this developmental program. Campers will be given the tools to systematically progress during a day balanced with technical work, training sessions, and dry land training. Our goal is to pattern solid stroke fundamentals and fine-tune starts and turns so that each camper may reach their individual potential. Certified coaches oversee a comprehensive program designed to build confidence, competence and performance in the water. The program has a low 6:1 coach-to-camper ratio. Any questions re the Swim Camp program can be directed to the camp office on (631) 572-0232.
