FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM | FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Provides temporary financial assistance to those experiencing hardship. Also provides material aid through St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Stores free of charge. Organization will work with other agencies if more help is needed. Assistance is provided on a case by case basis and excluding food pantry visits, requires a home visit before assistance will be distributed. Availability of funds determines amount of support provided.

SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT DE PAUL LONG ISLAND
Provides direct financial and material aid, food, clothing, shelter, counseling, transitional housing for men recently released from prison. Services are provided through a network of 63 Conferences helping the needy in 49 Nassau and Suffolk County communities. Operates two thrift stores in Garden City, and Huntington, and 12 food pantries throughout Long Island. Affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church in the Diocese of Rockville Centre.
