Description

Offers a one-to-one mentoring program that matches a community volunteer with an adult receiving mental health services. Volunteers spend one hour a week doing a variety of activities with their compeer friend. Also recruits and trains prospective volunteers, including providing ongoing support once they join the program.

A community based not-for-profit mental health agency that delivers a wide array of person-centered and recovery oriented services, professional and community education and advocacy. Services include licensed out-patient clinics, housing, vocational support, ACT team, Northern Westchester Recovery Network, Westchester Recovery Network, Family Support, Sterling Community Center, and OnTrackNY (for young adults in the first year of psychosis). Services are available for all ages and are offered on-site at OMH licensed clinics as well as in home and community settings.
