SUFFOLK KIDS' COTTAGE | MICHAEL J. GRANT CAMPUS

Provides a comprehensive, developmentally appropriate child care program for children between the ages of six weeks and five years. They are licensed by the New York State Department of Social Services; are open to children of SCCC students, faculty, and staff; Suffolk County employees; and community residents. They offer affordable rates, a sliding fee schedule, and a variety of child care tuition assistance programs. The programs provide a warm, safe, healthy, caring and stimulating environment, provide flexible scheduling options that allows parents to work or attend college with the knowledge that their children will be nearby and welcome parents to visit their children whenever they choose. The programs carefully select staff for their educational background, early childhood training, teaching experience, and their sensitivity to the individual needs of young children. They maintain an adult to child ratios that meet or exceed the requirements set by the New York State Department of Social Services and serve breakfast, lunch and snacks according to New York State Department of Health nutritional requirements. The centers are Accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). SUFFOLK COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Enrolls 21,000 students in the State University of New York (SUNY) system, at its three campuses in Selden, Brentwood and Riverhead. SCCC offers the Associate in Arts (A.A.), Associate in Science (A.S.), and Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree, as well as a variety of certificate programs.
