APPLIED SOCIOLOGY CERTIFICATE | ST. JOSEPH’S UNIVERSITY

Offers a 27 credit certificate program in Applied Sociology. The program provides students with the opportunity of learning how to apply social science theories and research methods to organizational needs and issues and eventually to policy and planning decisions. Students will be exposed to occupational positions in formal organizations in which business and social policies are formed and implemented. Sample course offerings include: Introductory Sociology; Social Problems; Elements of Social Science Research; Social Organizations; Sociological Theory; Research Methods; Research Methods and Applied Statistics.
