Child Teen Health Plan - Health & Human Services | South County Office Building, Jamestown
A preventive health program which provides medical exams and follow-up care care to children and teens under 21 years of age to ensure that they are healthy and growing properly. Makes use of a full range of healthcare services to detect health problems before they become serious and hard to treat. Depending on the age of a child, a Child / Teen Health Plus screening will include: - Blood Tests (such as, blood lead level, sickle cell anemia, etc.) - Complete Physical - Dental Screenings - Developmental Assessment - Health History - Hearing and Vision Testing - Immunizations The child's medical provider will arrange for followup treatment of problems uncovered during the examination.
