The TANF Summer Youth Employment Program is supported by the Department of Social Services-Office Workforce Investment (OWI). This program provides summer employment opportunities for economically disadvantaged youth. The purpose of the TANF Summer Employment Program is to provide the Participant with work experience, career counseling and basic skills remediation necessary to compete in the market once she/he has completed school
