The mission of the Dutchess County Office of Probation and Community Corrections is to protect the community through intervention in the lives of those under supervision by facilitating compliance with court orders and serving as a catalyst for positive change. Operates in collaboration with criminal justice partners and the community. Provides services to courts, helps strengthen families and give victims a voice in the justice system.

Goal is to assist youth and adults under supervision to become law abiding and responsible members of the community. In order to achieve this objective, they seek to concentrate resources on those criminogenic factors that lead to delinquency and crime. Assists probationers to obtain counseling, mental health and drug treatment as well as educational and vocational services.
