Services provided on a case-by-case basis after assessment. Emergency assistance may include information, advocacy, referrals, emergency food, personal care toiletries, diapers (through Every Bottom Covered), clothing, household items, prescription medications, budgeting assistance, and utility payment assistance (Neighbor for Neighbor Heat Fund and Care and Share; see separate listings on these programs). Care Managers help families and their children achieve wellness goals by providing support and service navigation with various health and social care systems and other resources. Also provides a care management program centered around helping seniors access benefits, transportation, health care, and social services. Workforce Education program available for clients ages 13 and older. ##Veteran##

Application process
Self-apply by phone, website, or walk-in; some services by appointment. Clients need to bring in the following documentation for everyone in household: current picture ID, proof of address, proof of monthly income, and proof of monthly household expenses (if applying for utility assistance).

Eligibility
Assessment is conducted by Intake Caseworker to identify emergency need. Clients referred by Erie County Department of Social Services must have a written referral. Service Area: Erie County.
