Eligibility
Active duty service in the United States Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard, or the Reserve Components of the Armed Forces of the United States or active military service as a member of the Army National Guard, Air National Guard, New York Guard, or New York Naval Militia; and Were honorably released from such service after September 11, 2001. Note: Veterans who were released from service after September 11, 2001 and are in possession of a letter from the New York State Department of Veterans' Services restoring access to state benefits pursuant to the Restoration of Honor Act are eligible for this program.
