LITERACY CENTER | ADELPHI UNIVERSITY

Provides literacy assessment and instruction for students entering grades 1-12 who are experiencing difficulties in reading and/or writing. Based on the results of the evaluation, students are placed in either small groups (no more than four students) or in an individual setting. Conferences inform parents of progress and make recommendations for support at home. At the end of the semester, a summary report is written for all students. Programs are offered during three semesters per year: Fall, Spring, and Summer. The cost of instruction is based on group or individual placement. For more information, contact the Literacy Center.
