COHEN CHILDREN'S MEDICAL CENTER NORTHWELL HEALTH

Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York is a pediatric hospital located on the 48 acre campus of the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park. It provides medical, surgical, dental and psychiatric health care for children from infancy to young adult in both inpatient and outpatient settings. There are special services for Lyme Disease, the deaf, food allergies and eating disorders, among others. Operates an On Call Service to provide access to pediatric care when child's regular pediatrician is unavailable. Encourages maximum visitation by families of hospitalized children. The Ronald MacDonald House of Long Island, a (home-away-from-home) for families of seriously ill children, is adjacent to Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York. Formerly known as Schneider Children's Hospital.
