Center for Allied & Unified Sport & Exercise (CAUSE) - Daemen University
*As communities throughout the state continue to be impacted by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and because Daemen College has made the decision to move all in-person classes online, CAUSE has made the difficult decision to suspend all sport sampling sessions until further notice.* The Center for Allied and Unified Sport and Exercise (CAUSE) at Daemen College provides opportunities for people with disabilities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, and experience the camaraderie and sportsmanship that comes with athletics participation. CAUSE hosts four FREE, 90 minute sports sampling sessions each week for individuals with disabilities. All participants are matched with a Daemen College student as a partner for the session. Various sports and exercise activities are run by Daemen College student athletes. Sessions will run during the academic year on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, along with two sessions on Sunday afternoons during Fall 2019. CAUSE also hosts half-day summer camp sessions for a small fee.
