Provides therapeutic preschool, nursery school, and therapeutic services to children ages 2.5 to 5 years. Children with diagnosed disabilities and developmental delays are educated with typically developing nursery school peers. Provide evaluation and services in the areas of special education, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, music therapy, vision therapy, counseling, social work services and psychological services. Consent for evaluation required through school district of residence. Infants and toddlers from birth to 3 years receive in-home evaluations. If eligible, services are provided in natural environments (home/community/day care facilities) through the Early Intervention Program as authorized by Suffolk County Division of Services for Children with Special Needs.
