CAREGIVER WELLNESS AND RESPITE CENTER

The Caregiver Wellness and Respite Center provides support for informal caregivers to help address gaps and barriers for respite and caregiver services for persons of all ages and disabilities. Respite allows caregivers to take a much-needed break, reducing stress levels and preventing burnout. Respite may be used to take a trip, attend support groups, or simply get some rest. Caregivers providing care for a person of any age with a long-term disabling condition are welcome to apply. Grandparents and family friends caring for people under 18 years are also welcome to apply as kinship caregivers. Applicants must reside in Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Hamilton, Warren, or Washington county.
