Provides support services and advocacy to low income Nassau County residents. Facilities access to health care and related services for pregnant women, mothers and infants. Offers Career Path TANF employment services (CPTE) and Displaced Homemakers Program (DHP). Provides job training workshops, jobs referrals, resume writing and job placement. Assists clients in obtaining needed services, housing assistance and court advocacy. Makes education referrals for GED, adult education and ESOL classes. Provides support for the elderly, undocumented residents and emergency assistance for families. Youth services include Head Start, enrichment, sports, leadership and prevention programs.

Funds Community Action Programs in Freeport, Glen Cove, Hempstead, Port Washington, Rockville Centre, Lakeview, Roosevelt. Also offers MLK Scholarship Program, Displaced Homemakers Program, Job Readiness/Job Placement, Summer Youth Programs, Head Start Child Development, Downstate New York Healthy Start Program, College Tours to Historically Black Colleges.
