POWER PROGRAM | ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES
Provides assistance to those in recovery, facing homelessness in Suffolk County. Peer outreach counselors assist each person to help them reestablish hope, take charge of their situation and get back on track. Services are mobile and can be provided in any setting where a person is most comfortable. Individuals receive peer support and are assisted with linkage to resources such as housing, self-help, mental health services, substance abuse, medical services, financial assistance, legal services, employment and benefits as needed.

Advocacy group for people with disabilities founded by concerned parents of people with mental illness. Works to improve services to people who have mental health, substance abuse and/or medical challenges both in institutions and in the community through education, information and referral services, legislative action and program development.
